After a terrible operation I’d gained weight. I’m now slimmer, fitter and stronger than ever. I’m also a healthy size 10!


It had been about 12 months since my operation and I’d not only piled on the pounds, but become unfit and felt really down about myself. I used run a lot and was a keen windsurfer, but post-operation I’d lost all confidence in my ability and was scared to try windsurfing again because I just wasn’t strong enough. I attended KT’s One Day to a New You which got me right back on track and kick-started 12 months of getting back in shape. I was initially nervous about attending, but I had no reason to be. KT made us all feel welcome regardless of fitness ability or reason to be there. More than anything, the day inspired me to take control of my health and fitness again. I’d tried out a few classes, learnt about nutrition and even jumped off a 30ft pole on the high ropes course. I felt like I was back and there was no stopping me now.


After the day I decided to continue to work with KT and took up Personal Training once a week. KT put me on a 12-week progressive programme that incorporated our 1 PT session each week, but also included workouts I could do at the gym or home. KT also sent over recipes, meal plans and constantly monitored my food diary. In short, KT’s support has transformed my life over the last 12 months. Yes, through all the training, but more than that, through the education. I constantly look to KT for support, but the way she provides it means I have a much better idea of how to workout and eat properly.  I am fitter, stronger, leaner and happier with my body than ever before. I even went Windsurfing this year and can honestly say… I absolutely smashed it!!!!


I would highly recommend working with KT either through personal training, attending her workshops or just becoming a friend. She’s been excellent.
